I go to a tech school, and the body shop teacher is doin some minor body work and a paint job. I was thinking, since I love the General Lee Charger on the Dukes of Hazzard, why not have a General Lee Bronco?

If he does this, then it will include all the details, the 01 and the Confederate flag will be up there....

Anybody think this is a good idea or not?

The body shop teacher is doin this body work and paint job for free!!! The only thing I have to pay for is the paint....

I have a dent in my door, and some rust here and there... The hood is a faded blue due to the original motor blowing up, slinging coolant and then a small fire....

I didn't own the bronco when this happened, but I heard about it, and the motor was rebuilt. So I have a rebuilt 302 in it, that only has 10k miles on it....

Anybody wanna guess how much I bought the truck for?

I bought it for a jaw dropping $500 dollars!!!

the general lee is a dodge. isnt that kind of a slap in the face to ford? i dont know. i guess it would all depend on what year it is and what it looks like. are you able to do drawings for your vehicles? if you do. you should draw it and post it. just dont go lowering your bronco. :)>-

It's not a slap in the face to Ford...

I think that Ford and Dodge both have awesome vehicles... (Chevy just doesn't match up [-X )

It's a 1988 Bronco...

I can't draw at all, but I have a program on my computer that will allow me to customize any vehicle in 3D, it looked awesome actually.

****, I don't have a GT 500, so why not a bronco?

And no, I plan on lifting the truck, not dropping it.... LOL, you don't do that to trucks....

Dodge and Ford are both awesome. just ford is a little better. my parents are chrysler so i grew up around dodges. i was taught chevys are crap and break as fast as GT40s go in the quarter mile. as for the general lee, i guess it wouldnt be a slap in the face to ford. as for dropping trucks. it is just plain sick. :-& even cars is just plain wrong. youre awesome american rebel. if your paint is that bad, id say go for it. then post some pics of it.

:D/

Well, north and south doesn't matter anymore....

It's just heritage, that's all....

If you have aol messenger, my screename is dodgeracer524....

About the dodge name, I own a Dodge D-150 that can haul ass down the track.

It's a two wheel drive truck, so it stays on the track, it's not even street legal.

My bronco is my main truck, because it hasn't let me down yet in the mud....

GO FORD!!!

Whats wrong with chevy? Every car company had their hits and misses no one is excluded from this including ford (pintos....) Ive never heard anyone from the muscle car era say that chevy had nothing, they dont say that about any of makers.

I've got a friend that painted his 73 Bronco as the General Lee.

Looked goofy to me but others seemed to like it. Its one way to be different I guess...
