i have an 89 bronco full size running a 351 w. it has locking hub 4 wheel drive. i was out in the mud last saturday and i was trying to pull another truck out. i know i have the power because it was a half size and ive pulled out full sizes i locked the hubs in right and i put the shifter in 4 wheel low and it made a noise in the axle like it was locking in but my freind on the side of me said that my front wheels werent spinning it was only my back wheels that were digging themselves in. i was wondering wat might be the problem is it something i might not be doing right or do i need to get something fixed. i was planning on taking it in to the shop to have them look at it but i figured id come on here first and see what yall think.

Heres a quick check unlock the hubs make sure in 4 wheel and in park not running . Get under the truck and try to turn the front driveshaft if it doesnt then the T case should be ok . Then put it in 2 wheel lock one hub then turn the driveshaft only the hub you didnt lock should turn if it does then the lockout may be stuck or broke if it doesnt turn do the same thing for the other side . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Automatic or Manual locking hubs? If they are autos. those things fail all the time.
