Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem. My front two tires when i reverse the truck in the driveway use to bow in. well the top of the tire in and the bottom out. Replaced tie rod inners and outers and ball joints and had it aligned and the camber was off. Now the tires go the oposite way but its perfectly aligned. The top of the tires are bending out and the bottom in now. any help would be nice. I was told that broncos just do that. Mine is a 93

hopefully this all makes sense

thanks Ben

My tires are the same way, sometimes it just seems to depend on what day of the week it is, sometimes in sometimes out. As long as it isnt eating the tread up on them you should be ok. What size tires are they?

If you come up with a solution please let me know. Same problem, 89 Bronco, 33 X12.5, 4-inch RC lift.

Thanks,

it all has to do with the toe in numbers. Even though you had an alignment done what were your toe in numbers? it needs to be between 0-1/4 degree toe in. When you back up and your wheels tip out(positive camber) you have toe out. When you back up and they tip in(negative camber) you have too much toe in. I did the front end work on my truck and aligned it myself and had no problems. When i got new tires i took it to a shop and had them align it with whatever method they used and it tilted the tires in when backing up. bad. He told me he could get it within about a degree. Thats too much!

What i did was got under the truck and gave it a little adjustment and just watch for it when i back up. Now i have very little negative camber when backing up. Ive done this for trucks with stock tires up to 33" tires(its much worse looking on large tires)

When driving and you have toe in the vehicle wants to track itself straight. When you have toe out it will feel like it wants to wander on the highway.
