I am new to the bronco world.I just put a 4" lift on my 78. I would like to find out if I were to remove my front sway bar,how much it would hurt me or if it would actually help me. the bronco is not a daily driver,& will see quite a bit of mud.

if any one could give a pointer it would help me out alot

thanx

I took both swaybars off my 87 bronco, and it made a huge difference in the twisty stuff. Kinda makes you pay more attention on the road though, but not bad enough for me to crawl back under there to put it back on, yet.

I also removed both the front and rear anti-sway bars on my '84 Bronco after the 6" lift kit. It may have a negative effect when towing a trailer, but I don't plan on towing anything unless it's another truck out of the mud. I would just try without the sway bars for a few days and see if you notice more body roll when cornering. I did not see or feel any difference, as the lift lift helps out the ride alot more than stock.

Mine is removed as well. It is a daily driver and it rides just fine.
