front and rear end id#

does any one now where to decode id numbers for front and rear end on 79 bronco?

Post them up here, and someone will decode them. The front axle is a Dana44, the rear is a Ford 9". The gear ratio will also be stamped on the bottom line of the metal ID tag bolted to the center or differential, i.e., "3L50 9 ..." if it's a factory limited slip option. JSM84
