Great had some problems, went to inspect. I have a damn crack in my block. Looking around today for a new short block. hopefully something is out there for a reasonable price any ideas for a so cal guy in need of some help

you know. i thought they had a shop in your area. maybe not. anyhow you may check them out as i have contacted them about possibly remanufacturing my stock engine and they are very professional and helpful.
anyhow i guess it depends on what you think is reasonable. but, they may also be able to point you in the right direction.

that SUX man i would hate for that to happend to me but its my luck... hope it works out for you man if your lucky you can get a good base bl;ock from a junkyard for cheap and swap the parts off of both of the motors

Got real lucky on SAturday afternoon found a complete motor for my Bronco, someguy had it sitting around. Still has 18 months of warranty and unlimited mileage. WE stayed up until 3 sunday morning getting the old one out and getting the new one all lined up and inside the truck. Woke up like 5 hours later and went to put all of the bolts in it. Almost finished it on sunday but ran into a bad gasket for the thermostat and all the stores were closed. Finished it last night, sound good and better than my old engine so everything ended up ok wqell now i am out 900 bucks but i can deal with that as long as i get to drive.
