I have a 68 Bronco that was in near mint condition before we took it apart to do a frame off restoration. I am putting the new body bolts and bushings in place, but the core support is about one inch away from the cushion. Is there a seperate spacer that goes just to the front? The frame and body was perfect before dissassembly, so not sure what we are looking for. The frt doors will bolt on perfect now, so it appears we do not have body or frame dmage, just not sure the problem.

I took out a two inch body lift and had the same problem. When ever the body is removed stuff will bend and shrink, I just loosened up all the bolts and pushed it back a little till all bolts went in then played with shims thick washers till all lined up, these frames do bend a little , mines still not right but it helped, if you did not jig the tub before removal all you can do is get out the comealong and strech it till it fits and then spend days aligning till the doors and tub and windshield match like stock... Good luck
