fiberglass top

can you clear coat the fiberglass top or is it ok the way it is?I have a 1995 ford bronco eddie bauer with a light tan top and i just want to insure that itll last a long time

im pretty sure they come factory with some sort of protective coating on them, but i have seen some nasty nasty tops that could use a clearcoat on them, so id say yes you could do it.
