In my 99 ****** (2.0L, 5spd, BASE MODLE) when I turn on the A/C it screws up my brakes? It's like it'll lock them (or one or two) up? Almost like "hydrolocking" or something? Turn the A/C off and let the car sit for 15-20 minutes and don't run the A/C brakes are fine? I haven't the slightest idea where to start? Anyone EVER had anything like this on any vehicle that can give me something? Thanks all!

Are you sure its connected? Maybe it just happens together for no reason. Disconnect the ABS plugs on the master cylinder or maybe pull the fuse if it doesn't have too much important items on it also. It sounds screwy, never heard of that before. And also if you can get a wire diagram, check for common grounds or common power sources. I've seen crazier things. I've seen a faulty ground on a F350 let the rear tank fuel pump work and not the front. When I replaced the front one, the rear stopped working. Confused I jumped the front one I replaced and found it worked fine and then later found the bad ground. Weird. But Brake and A/C? Maybe the vacuum load from the A/C being engaged messes with the brake booster?(Shot in the dark!) Good luck bud...

To base of a model to have ABS. I'm also throwing the code for a misfire #4 cylender and have replaced the coil tower, plugs and wires. I heard somewhere threw the grapevine that the code could be a bad vacuume?
