Ok all, I just installed headers on my truck and I'm trying to think of what I want to go with. I was originally thinking a system to go out the back of the rear wheels like the factory system, but I was just looking in the jcwhitney magazine (bible) and seen side pipes and got a brainack idea. What does everyone think about the side pipe idea? If the side pipes are chosen cool, but if the regular exhaust is chosen what does everyone prefer?

I ran mine out the rear for the factory look, never liked the idea of the hot exhaust blowing on rear wheels.

May want to be careful running them strait out the back, i have heard that if you put the back window down and have a strait exhaust fumes are sucked back into the cab. i don't know for sure if this is true but it makes since to me.

If you want, just turn the exhaust behind the rear wheel.
