Ever Had This Happen To You?

Well today started off as a normal day. Drivin the ole 79 Bronco around town, was running good and sounded good, just having a great ole time. Then......for some reason it starts to miss then quit running and I coasted into the Pizza Hut parking lot. After checking a few things I came to the conclusion the Fuel Pump played out! So... I walked over to Advance Auto Parts just across the street, bought a fuel pump and fuel filter. Went back and installed it while in the Pizza Hut parking lot then continued my drive through town, lol.

The same thing happened to me once with my 79 pickup. The fuel pumps seem like they have a mind of their own and say welp I think Im gonna quit working right about....now!

yes i have had that problem....more often then none i had fuel filter problems being stock tanks having allt hat crud in there clogs the filter

I'VE HAD THAT MORE TIMES THAN I CAN REMEMBER!!! BETWEEN FUEL RELAYS IN 90'S F-150S AND 250'S, BAD SENDING UNITS, AND WORE OUT FUEL PUMPS. I HAD AN 86 BRONCO II THAT WENT THROUGH RELAYS ABOUT ONE EVERY TWO TO THREE MONTHS. I WOULD OPEN THEM UP AND BEND THE CONTACT ARM BACK INTO SHAPE AND RE USE THEM!!
