engine swap

I currently have a 1981 f100 2x4 with a straight 6 300ci engine body is very rough. I know someone who has a bronco 2 with a dead engine and i was wondering if this swap would be possible and if the tranny would also have to be changed. what for tranny's did they put in a bronco 2

im not sure how much room there will be if you drop the I6 but the np435 4speed tranny will bold directly to the motor and is a very strong trannny, but the downfall is it has a granny low and no overdrive. the is the tranny i just bought for my b2 swaping a 302. i was suggested to use if because im using my truck for mudding
