A buddy of mine has put a 1996 300 in his 1989 both had fuel injection but now it is flooding at idle. It runs fine other than at idle. Is there some wiring that needs to be swapped? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I know anything and that's a big IF, the 96 would've been Mass Air Flow and the 89 Speed density. Two totaly different monsters but If you went from 6 to 6 and kept the intake off the 89 then I don't know what would be wrong. I would just check your spark at idle and make sure it's firing hard enough. Just my $.02
