Emergency Brake

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get the ebrake cable disconnected from the foot rachet, im replacing the floor and need to remove. thanks

It was pretty straight forward on my 67. Just unbolt the pedal from the driver side kick panel. The cable is just slid into a slot at the bottom of the pedal and should pull right out once it is unbolted.

Just look at it and it's not too hard to figure out.

im talking about the cable that comes through the floor. does it have to be cut out to replace the floors?

THe cable end has a "ball" ......pull it up & out the side of its "seat" (The opening is larger there)

Remove the hardware off the flooorboard & that's it, pull it out.
