early bronco rear??

hey i am an explorer owner and i am goin with an early bronco front but wanna know wat is the size rear they use it a 8.8 like wat i have on my exp or is it a 9 inch but narrow version like how the D44 is??

The EB used a 9" similar in width to the front 30 and 44s used.

All had 28 spline axles, but bearing and brake sizes varied through the years.

The most desireable are the 76 and 77 diffs.

Large bearings, biggest brakes and the strongest housings were used in the final two years of production.
