I recently bought an Automatic EB with disc brakes front and rear, however, the vehicle does not have an e-brake.

I tried to find out if the rear system had an e-brake available without success.

Any ideas other than buying a new system with an e-brake. $$$$$$

A block of wood or rock works! heehee!! Check with the Vendors.

I was about to say try a line lock but they should only be used on drum brakes but others with Discs still run them with good results. They are illegal for the use of an e-brake but you have Park also to work with. On a hill I'd add a block either way.

Hey thanks for the reply.

I have been doing just that...carrying a wheel chock to keep it in place. Unfortunately the vendor changed designs and no longer makes this style so no e-brake option. I heard about a line lock however the club I wanted to run with won't consider it an e-brake....

I guess it's buy something new....

Thanks Again,

Ed

No there is an offset on the back on the disc for a drum like e-brake to be installed.

The guy that installed originally didn't want to spend money on it because he felt like the Park position on the c-4 was sufficent

I may give the mfg another try to see if I get someone that might go a little farther and see if another application might work.

Thanks
