Do you mean like paint the actual outside of the vehicle using a brush??? or just touching up some under the hood parts?can you paint this with a brush like on the $50 paint job.... that they have set up?
the links I posted above have shown that painting a car with a roller can be done cheaper and still look good, but the downside is that it takes alot of work and patience.... if you are a do-it-yourselfer then it's a great projectIm sorry I think im missunderstanding your question. you want to paint the fiberglass top with the foam rollers? It is a rough enough surface that you can probably get away with it. work fast and keep a light touch to blend in the roller streaks. I have successfully used the small black foam rollers to paint on vehicle letters on trucks to use as a base for the airbrush. it comes out like it was sprayed, of course the letters are only a couple inches thick. If your looking to paint an entire vehicle with a roller, I cant help you there, never seen it done, dont think I want to either. why not just take it to macco or earl if you want something cheap. you prep it, they spray it. tell them to give it 3-4 coats of clear, when you get it home color sand and polish it and it would like you spent thousands on it.
