dual battery setups

I'm putting in dual batts in my 66 and was wandering wich way I should go. Should I put both on one side with a dual batt tray or split them and put one at each corner of the rad. I already have the switch and stuff from Wild Horses just dont know which is better. Thanks for any suggestions.
