Driver Side Tail Light Assembly

Ok. Brake lights work. Turn signals work. But when I turn my headlights on, the rear running light or whatever it's called only works on the passenger side. Why is it my driver side brake light works, but not the night time running light or whatever?

It is a different circuit, the bulb has two filaments, one for brake and one for turn.  Probably a corroded contact,  bad bulb, or bad connection.  Sometimes the plug contacts or wires corrode. If bulb doesn't fix the problem, check the connector, it is located on the left side under and just behind the rear bumper.
