I own a 1989 Bronco XLT. The driver window is stuck down, is there a way to manually get it rolled up? Can you change out an electric window and make it a manual one? Just spent over $2000 getting the transmission working and want to drive it! :((

Pull the door panel and find the wire harness plug for the motor , unplug it and take a batter charger ( have used a dewalt battery in a pinch out in the junkyard ) and touch the leadsto the wires one way it will go up and the other it will go down if the motor isnt shot , And yes you can put a manual regulator in there the holes are already punched in the door . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

:D/ It worked. My bf used the bronco battery and we were able to get the window up! Therefore the motor is okay. We've left the motor disconnected so it will not get stuck down again... Now on to replacing the brakes and we will be on the road again. Thanks so much!!!!!
