i own a 1990 bronco, it's got a 351 5.8l engine. it's lifted 6 in on 35 and besides that it's pretty much stock. i wanna rebuilt pretty much the whole drive train. this is my everday driver/weekend wheelr, i wanted to ask what size gears, tranny, and t-case to put on it. i wanna be able to spin the tires and get the most amount of tourque and horsepower, any suggestions? also what is the difference between lockers and posi and which is better? i bought this truck last year when i was 17 and i never wanna get rid of it...ford power wwwoooooo!!!!!

Well, you could swap in the drivetrain from an F-350 like I did, if you're lucky enough to find one for a donor. or you could take your time and slowly add mods or replace broken parts with better ones as time and money allow. 4.56:1 gears, with a limited slip in the rear. A full locker or spool is not very practical for mostly street driving, since it wears out the tires real fst and has some quirky driving habits on pavement. There's many threads in the forums on getting more grunt out of the bronco. Good luck, JSM84
