does anyone here run a crank scraper?or oil pan baffles?

the crank scraper is just a piece of metal you can buy at jegs summit whatever and mounts between your oil pan and scrapes the oil off your crank,and a baffle mounts in your oil pan to keep oil from going all the way to one side under extreme angles....something to look into huh?

Nice idea. I'd hate to start up the motor to find it smashed into the crank. @-)

the scraper is cut to fit around the crank journels and not to touch it,why don't you do a search on it and baffles and see

Most of those work best (gaining power at high RPM. The break to strands of oil that drag resistance on the crank or reduce the amount of oil therefor recipricating weight that the crank is dealing with. I don't think you would see alot of gain under normal use.

the baffles would be a good idea if you do offroading and are concerned about your engine getting its life-blood. i considered putting baffles in mine, but i don't do a lot of offroading.
