Dodge Dana 60 Front

I have recently aquired a dana 60 front axle from a '97 dodge 3500 cummins and was wondering if i could swap ford axle shafts in it to replace the CAD (central axle- disconnect) crap in it.

It should go, a Dana 60 is a Dana 60 no matter what truck manufacturer used it.
