Dash Replacement

Being a newbie here and at restoring my B2s I need some suggestions on where to start with replacing the padded dash, the rest of the interior is great ,just needs the cracked dash replaced......where do I start?

Welcome to the Zone > . A lot of places sell a cover that fits over the original dash. I don't know how well they work as I have never heard from anyone who has bought one. The next option is to check around various junk yards, I got a dash cover for mine in perfect shape. OEM covers are available but are pretty expensive.

You don't say what year your B2 is, but you might try LMC Truck at the links below. I also think JC Whitney has replacement dashboard covers for the B2, perhaps a few $$$ less than LMC.

Thanks guys for the welcome and the info, went to a wrecker today and picked up exactly what i needed..... another question..... about seats for my 85 B2 5 speed, the front seats are in bad shape and am wondering what I can use for replacements if I cannot find original ...... will Tempo, ****** ,Mustang seats bolt right in or do I have to stick with Ranger seats as replacements ...thanks in advance......

You can usually fit most any seat onto the existing frames. sometimes a little modification or mounting plate is necessary. I have Windstar front buckets in my FSB that are mounted on the original seat rails.
