I have a T-style transfercase on my 76 bronco, and i recently put in a 89 5.0, and NV 4500 conversion. ive been driving it to work..and snow wheeling so far for the past 4 months... BUT!.. i got a used t case cause i previously had the j style stock and the NV 4500 supposedly doesnt work with it. so i got THIS T-case and it looked ok when i had it apart, cause i had to put the new spud shaft to convert to the NV, alittle worn gears but nothing terrible looking. (then again i dont know much about gears and being 21 am a grean horn). but i know well enough what is "BAD". i cant individually shift the front and the back for starters, and the only way to get the front into 4h, the rear has to be engaged in high first.. :glare: SECOND ISSUE... the first wouldnt be too bad. i dont even know if it should? that was my whole excitement over it... but kinda off topic, my dad just built a 70 408 stroker bronco on dana 60s new paint ALOT of $-) something i dont have, and almost show worthy. he also has a t style case on a Np435 but we havent test drove it farther than the end of our drive way, and he wont let me touch it. so i dont trust him as a GREAT source either. MY FRONT ONLY SHIFTS NEUTRAL AND HIGH!!
( i havent pulled it apart again, since i drive it to work every day. but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or MAYBE HEARD of someone besides me that has had this??
