Ok, i'm looking at new tires for the Avacado. I've got stock 29's on her right now, on 7" wide rims. No lift, and I commute 100 miles daily.

My thought is to go to 33x10.50 on the same rims. From looking around here and on the BFG site, the 10.5" tires need a rim that's from 7-9" wide, so my stock ones will still work. I don't want to go to 12.5's, they get a little squirrley on ice.

I've heard that I'll probably have to shim out the front bumper a little, and there might be some rubbing on the radius arms at full wheel lock. That's all good with me.

I guess, all I really want to know is if this sounds ok to you guys, or if I'm missing something obvious or not so obvious?

You may get some rubbing, so as long as you can live with that, fine. A small suspension lift helps but you will still probably will rub at full lock on the radius arms.

Good Luck,

:)>-
