Hey guys I am fixing to test the compression on my 84 to see if I have a bad ring or bent rod. Does anyone know what lbs. I should be seeing on the tester. I was thinking like 170lbs. But I dont know. any help would be appreciated.

That could vary from 100-180 lbs, but the main thing is the difference between individual cylinders. IF 7 are 120 and one is 110, that's OK. If that one is only 60, it needs attention.
