I know that some of you are tired of my ignorance but I just bought this bronco and i want it to run right before i start with the outside.
I fixed the squeak (U-joints not brakes) and now i realize i am having problems with the clutch or it was going on the whole time and i was too worried about the god awful squeak whatever.
It works fine when i first start it up but after a while of driving it doesnt release at the same point. It has tons more play at the top than at the bottom. But i was wearing my flip flops (hey it was a beautiful day at VA beach) and my foot slipped off the clutch after i was rolling not trying to spin tires. Well long story short at the next light the clutch operated the same way as it did as when i first started it up.
Now here is what i know is that it is a hydraulic clutch and i checked the fluid level and it is fine. Other than that i have NO idea.
Any help will be appreciated.
And PLEASE dont tell me that i have to replace the clutch....
BTW 95 302 5 speed bone stock. Or as my friends call it a "Blank canvas"
