Changing out tail lights

Has any one ever heard of any one changing out the tail lights on a 67? I got it in my head it might be cool to swap out the stock tail lights for those on a newer F-150, and get me some more options for tail light styling. I figure I would have to cut out the quarter panels where the stock lights are - but if there were to be a kit somewhere, it would be easier....

I'm not building up a stock Bronco, so I'm kicking around some ideas....

That's where I got the idea really, I used to have a 2000 F-150, and I really liked some of the tail light options they had - but as I am not a welder, this might be too much for me right now....
