Currently i'm running an edelbrock 4 barrel. It totally sucks. When wheelin it can't handel the angles i want to. I've been lookin at carbs, anyone run a holly truck advenger. If any one has any advice i would greatly appreciate it. I'm so tired of my o' Bronco cuttin out when i get on to steep of an angle!

I tried all the off road junk for the Edelbrock and it does help for the usual trails out there. On extreme situations with the truck leaning to near roll over or heading up or down a steep incline would load up and flood.

I now run the Q-jet that BC Broncos sells and works great at all angles but sucks the gas when you get on it. The primaries are small so light peddle can give decent milage but once on it, you can hear those large secondaries open up!

Bronco addict,I put the off road kit in my Edelbrock 600,it worked pretty good on steep angles.I just recently went with a 470cfm,Truck Avenger. At Moab guys were asking me what kind of fuel injection I was running. That is the best my '73 has ever run period.I'm not sure how much top end I lost comming down on the cfm's,but It runs pretty strong and it seems to be doing the best mpg I've gotten. If you go with it,and you have a C-4,make sure you get the kick down adapter,it will save you a bunch of aggrevation for six bucks.
