Don't do it. fix it. If you do, the truck could be accidentally started in gear. Maybe fine for you, but it could wreck someone Else's day. It is a simple switch on the transmission.

yes i know how to do it. but you may end up with no reversre lights if you do it wrong or you may have none now if your switch is bad.
