i cant seem to find any bumpers out there that can hold a winch. does any one know of anyone that can make one or makes them? i dont have the time or the welder to do it. thank you!

Jeff's Bronco Graveyard has some new bumpers, including those for a winch, with or without a brushguard. I'm thinknig of building my own out of 3/16" plate, since most I've seen have 1/8" plate. If you have one made, post your design, JSM84

any ones cheaper than $800? like around 4 or 500?
You can check out Warm Industries. Along with hubs and winches, they sell bumpers. One that come to mind is the "Enforcer", looks great and sells for under $500. But i think it's 1/8" thick at best, and will get bent if hit while offroading. I have a friend that built his own winch bumper out of 5" pipe, have some pics at superford.org under "Long's Ranch". I can post one pic if you want an idea. JSM84

I put a Warn bumper on my pick up. I like the looks but otherwise I'm pretty dissapointed in it. The center section is solid enough for the winch but the outer parts are flimsy as could be. I think the stock bumper is stronger than the 'ears' of the Warn. Also, the panels that cover the gaps on top dont follow the lines of the truck worth a darn. Here's a picture of it, there should be some more in the gallery

Made this one my self it is 6x2x1/4 inch on the base and 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x3/16 around the front and fog lights and it has some 1/8 inch diamond plate on the top followed by some C bar that is also 1/4 imch think and yes it is heavy!!! with a 12500lbs warn winch takes out any tree you want , and on some long drinkin nights it happend upon some some stop signs and i think i got a no passing one time with out a scratch , well there might have been a scratch but NO DENT... hahaha , i made it alot more durable cause i didnt feel like buying one for 800.00 dollars and then denting it up, so i made this one last for a while

Not my rig, it's a friend I wheel with, but that's a Warn 12,000 lb electric winch. It gets used quite often to pull other rigs out of trouble, but I wouldn't put anything smaller on a fullsize Bronco with 40" tires.
