bug shield ?

I am looking for a bug shield for my 1995 beast, plan I buying one from JC Whitney. Don't want one that stands out and up, looking for that curved, close to the hood fit. Can anyone recommend one, pics would be great. Thanks in advance.

A little hard to see but it's basically the same one as hoghappy and I got it from PEP-BOYS for around $45 or so. Pretty nice too...

When I got my truck, it had this one on it from Ventshade. You can get them at lots of parts stores, Walmart, on line...



I did not like the way it altered airflow over the hood at highway speed, rendering the windshield washer sprayer useless. So I removed it. On removing it, I discoverded that when the P.O. put it on, he failed to install the little rubber bumpers allowing the shield to damage the paint on the leading edge of the hood.



So if you put one on make sure to use the little rubber things!

Roadkill that sucks!

The one I have doesn't touch the outside of the truck. it is screwed to the underside of the hood. Got it at a truck specialty shop. I'm not that crazy about the look but it does the job. Don't remember the cost.

Mine doesn't touch the outside of the truck either, it has 3m tape and self tapping screws on the bottom. I like the look, I feel it goes pretty good with my windo vent thingies. Next I want to get a sun visor but I don't like the price everyone is asking for them...
