when you install a 5.5" suspension lift what other parts will you need to make everything reach? Any advice would be great, I'm getting ready to install my first lift kit so I need all the help I can get.
On an EB, yes, you MUST have the extended driveshafts. There is no way around it....I don't know how it is on a big Bronco, but on an EB, anything over 2" the rear has to be lengthened and anything over 3.5" the front has to. The length from yolk to yolk on a stock EB is around 30-31 inches. When I had a 3.5" lift I had to have one built for 34" and the front I had to extend 1".u dont need new driveshafts if you do a 5.5 inch lift, i have a 6 inch and have been running the stock shafts for over 4 years now and havent had to replace a single u joint, it will be fine, a little longer shaft wont hurt, but its not something you MUST have
