I have a Bronco and an F250 with a 7.3 powerstroke. I don't know how a diesel would do in a bronco, but I'm sure its gonna be some work.

I can't see it being too difficult because there were 1996 F-250's with this setup, I think should take

only a few modifications. I have the HD towing package already so that should help with the weight

of the Powerstroke. Does anyone know if the tranny and transfer case will match up? I will be taking pictures throughout the entire process.

Thanks,

they are roughly 445 cubic inches

61.02545 X 7.3 = 445.48

A 96 F250 power stroke will have all the peices you need for the conversion . As for the tranny the diesel has a special bolt pattern so you will have to get a new tranny . T case will be fine . But a 96 F250 is the key :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have already paid for the 7.3L Powerstroke, I got a 1996 Complete Front Clip delivered to my door for $1800. As for the tranny I am going to have to look in into that, I am unsure of the tranny currently in the my truck, I have a setup I am looking at that came out of a 1995 F-250 (E40D and transfer case) rebuilt 2000 miles ago for $800, any thoughts on the deal? I am really excited to get this ball rolling and get this started!!

Thanks,

Hello you dont have many options for a tranny with a 7.3 whatever they came with you can use but there a bolt pattern all there own . A C6 will not mate to it in small block or big block pattern . You will almost have to use an E4OD which for the diesels are built stronger inside but the E4OD you get must be from a deisel because one that was mated to a 5.8 will not fit the shape of the bellhousing is different along with the bolt pattern ., Must be from a deisel . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I got the Powerstroke on Ebay. I bought almost the entire front clip. this is pretty much the deal I have been searching for the last 6 months. It is coming out of a 96 E-350 with 115,000 miles on it. My friend of my owns a Diesel repair shop so I wanted to take it to him for inspection and possible rebuild if needed and a good enough price. I am going to pay a visit to the installer today!!! I am still in search of the tranny to match but time is what I have.

Description I have a 1997 CC 4x4 that has been rolled. The truck has 152,000 miles on it and runs excellent. The truck starts and runs great but the frame is bent. I am selling the motor and everything with it such as turbo, alternator, AC compressor that is blowing very cold, and anything else you want under the hood for $2,100. I am also selling the ford Reman automatic with 10,000 miles on it along with transfer case for $1,100. The truck is driveable so you can inspect all parts. I would also consider selling the whole truck as is for $3,300. If interested E-mail or call me at 806-789-9053
