I broke my rear axel while driving on the street, just on the outside of the outer brg. I run a detroit locker, in the rear. Everybody says it is just metal fatigue, any opinions? will post pics soon

No I was refering to the wheel end of the axle, it broke off about 1" inboard of the hub.If you're talking about the carrier bearing cap I have seen them break before but they had broke from hard launches on dry pavement. I've also seen the trac loc cover blow outwards breaking a bearing cap as well. Did you break the cap thats located on the same side as the ring gear?

give em a look thats why the CTM joints are so highly rated besides the copper sleeves instead of bearings in the Joint caps."cryogenicaly freezing "
