The brake lights on my '69 bronco don't seem to be working. Every other light on that circut is working i.e. reverse lights, license plate light, turn signals and lights. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause just the break light to not work?

I was having brake light problems and I replaced the switch,but what I found was the original ground was rotting away.I replaced the ground and my brake lights worked,and my headlights got brighter.Hope that helps.
