I love it! Fixed the exhaust with a sawzall right away and now it roars. Sounds real healthy and solid at high rpm. So I took the boat home for the winter and did some wheeling in the woods and tried to drive over that big dirt mound. Almost made it, front wheels came up in the air and I almost rolled over backwards I guess.

Anyway, the thing didnt idle smoothly when I bought it, it revs to just over a 1000 and then cuts out and falls and catches itself right before dying and cycles like this. When its warm sometimes it cycle like 3 times and then settle out at 1000. I turned the throttle stop ***** up a bit but no help. Is there a vacum leak or something?

This wasnt a big deal until i went up that hill and my battery isnt tied down properly, I didnt know it at the time, and when it bounced around it killed my starter relay/solenoid i dont know. All I do know is now I have to use a ***** driver to start it to jump the power across the solenoid on the fenderwall. Maybe I pulled out a wire or maybe the solenoid died? Ideas?

I put my car in storage so I need to fix the Broncosaurus right away.

I have help on the starter, and I should have that done, but no one has mentioned the idle problem? Am I all alone, I find it hard to believe no one has had the same problem with their EFI rig?

push button starter is wired, now I just need to cut a hole in the dash somewhere. And fix the idle. I have one of those code readers, will plug it in and see what it says.

Nah it runs great, super strong, my idle adjust or throttle stop ***** is nearly bottomed out too, I cant turn it anymore with a screwdriver, going to need a socket.
