If you are going to lift an EB 9" I would hope that you are seriously looking into doing it through a coil over in the front and a 4 link setup rear and not a typical leaf/coil setup. First off, superlift suspensions are pretty much junk compared to something put out by BC, Duff, or Wild Horses. They ride like a lumber wagon and have about 1/3 the flex of any of those companies I mentioned. Put it this way, I have Wild Horses rear leafs (11 pack, 4.5") and a buddy of mine has 5" from Skyjacker. I have a softer ride, and I have almost 4" of travel more than he does.
The other thing you will have to consider is all the other hardware you will have to buy: brake lines, fuel lines, new driveshafts, drop pitman....the list goes on. Does Super lift have anyone that will help you out and tell you what exactly need? The Bronco companies do and they will point you in the right direction as to what you need to get to make the lift probable and streetable.
Personal opinion, save your money and do the lift right the first time and you wont regret it. Those shoebox lift kits from Superlift, Skyjacker and others are not engineered for maximum articulation. They are designed to get your vehicle in the air and are mainly for guys who dont take their trucks off pavement. That is why they sell their stuff so cheap. That and they don't actually give you a new set of rear leafs, they give you an add-a-leaf and blocks. The combo IMO is dangerous because you have old worn out leaves to begin with and then stacking those on blocks...a disaster waiting to happen. I have seen it happen once and it aint pretty. A guy had a 4" block in the rear (the most you should go is 2" anyway) and when they fell out, he shoved his tranny through the bell housing because the drive shaft was so long.
Needless to say, do it right and get your lift through a reputable BRONCO company and you will not have any problems. Try these two companies for your lift:

Another thing, if you are just looking to clear 39" tires, why not go with a lift from one of those guys and get the necessary stuff but then do a 3" or 4" body lift and get the Gorilla War Flares put out by Wild Horses. They offer a bigger wheel opening than any other fender flare out there and with a 5" suspension & a 3" body lift you can clear your big meats no problem. Just make sure you gear your axles right....or maybe even replace them with D60's for strength. That is a lot of rubber.
Sorry for such a long post, but I dont like to see someone just throw money away when they can do it right the first time.
