Hey guys, I have just recently purchased a '95 bronco(check my signature for specs) and It has a 33X12.5R15 size tire on it. The stock tires were 31X10.5R15(I think) and even with that tire the Bronco brakes leave much room for improvement. My question is will a set of Drilled/Slotted rotors and an upgrade to Ceramic Pads help improve my stopping power enough to warrant the cost? If anyone has an opinion or a tried and true setup that works please don't be afraid to post, I NEED to know(that was exaggerated)

Here's a link to Some I think would work nice, Let me know what you think.

Oh man, good question, BAD answer. If I have to answer honestly I'd say no, not worth it. I've been down the Drilled & slotted rotor/Ceramic pad path before (granted it was Fox-bodied Mustangs but brakes are brakes) and I jut don't see it as being worth the cost. Maybe someone else will feel differently but fact of the matter is that the Fronts do 70% of your braking and the drilled/slotted deal just doeasn't impart a big enuf improvement to justify the cost. In MY book at least. YES, you DO feel a difference, but maybe that's just the feel of your wallet being that much lighter on your ass, but for what the entire setup runs I just don't see the cost/benefit, especially with Broncos. Sure, *maybe* with a track ride where 10ths of a second *might* mean something but on a street/trail rig I wouldn't waste the $$$. Truth be told most guys install them for the looks & bragging rights and then can't tell the difference from a regular set of rotors & pads. I apologize up front to anyone I ****-off with this opinion but there it is. There are MUCH better upgrades to spend you hard-earned $$$ on. Drilled & slotted rotors are NOT high on my must-have list.
