Best Tires and Wheels? Change wheel size?

Time to get new tires and just wanted to ask if anyone has any suggestions as to their favorite.  Also, what do you think about changing to a larger rim, like 17 inch?

I have usually just gone with the BF Goodrich 33x12.5 15 All Terrain

But the 15 inch rim seems to get less and less popular all the time.  Thoughts on this appreciated.

IMHO,

I would stick with the 15's..!!  And, BFG's

Those large wheels run skinny tires.., ride rough, look like bicycle wheels. They belong on those "hopper" cars.

(just try airing them down)

Also.., tire size can ***** up your gearing, Speedo, mileage, etc.

Hey brawnk,

I wanted tires suited more for highway driving. Since, the time has passed that the Feds require Ford to have original parts available, 15" tires are hard to find. Off road tread and noisy knobby are about it.  I had to go with 18" wheels and some 285-50-18 Nexen Rodians.  They were fantastic on the dry and the wet...but not so much for off road. The 285-60s didn't effect the speedo either.
