I have a 75' Bronco and I need to replace my bushings. I was wondering if anybody has tackled this project and, if so, how tough is it and what advice would you give. I'm thinking of buying the whole kit and replacing them all.

My other problem is whenever I try to fill my auxillary fuel tank, it burps gas back out on the ground. The main tank doesn't do this. Anybody know why?

Thanks for the help,

Not sure about the bushings, but the gas thing is probly due to a bad/crimped vent tube. My buddy had the same problem with his ranger and that was the cause. had the same problem with my 88 suburban also, something to check anyway.

Which bushing kit...? There's a kit for the rear leaf spgs., for the front axle & rad. arm, & for the body.

Ea. project is about a 4 banana job.... front & rear req. a HD (tall) set of jack-stands, at least one good floor jack & a come-a-long is handy. (and a friend)

I would get instructions fr. who-ever you buy the kits from. (I didn't & it was a bit slower)

Safety is the "key" one end of the truck will be resting on those stands. (& up pretty high)

Don't mik up the radius arms & caps as they belong on one side.

The radius arm caps are hard to get the bolts started because of the new poly bushing but will go.

The radius arms must be parallel or you may get a lean to one side.

I did front & rear but not the body. A bit scary the first time but it's all big stuff/parts & pretty straight forward. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
