I just put a 50 series dual in dual out on my 98 Z71 and am thinking about putting the same thing on my Bronco. I like the way it sounds, deep rumble. MY Bronco has a 460 in it and is needing new exhaust and I think this is the way I am going. Any feedback is appreciated. :D/

Have you ever heard Dynomax Mufflers? They sound sweet. I dont care for the sound of flowmasters, I dont think they rumble all that much. (in all honesty I am refering to the 40's. I have never heard the 50's) But none the less I fine flowmaster to be mellow

Hey I never said they were crap or that they weren't popular. Alot of people like them. To me they sound like they are muffling horsepower, Listen to an engine through Flowmasters then the same engine through Dynomax. I think the Dynomax "enhances" the sound of the engine, whereas the flowmasters sound as though they muffle it. I guess thats why they are called mufflers. My personal opinion is that I prefer the mean raw horsepower that the Dynomax provides. Just like I prefer Fords, alot of people like Chevy, I am not saying they are crap (wink, wink) just I prefer Ford. I used to get a real kick out of the Chevy guys back when we used to race, "My 5.7 liter iroc is almost as fast as a 5.0 Mustang" Thats funny to me. Always thats off topic, Ford power sounds different than Chev, the flowmasters sound good on a chev I guess. Ford has a meatier growl to it and sounds awesome through Dynomax.

don't buy either, just make two pipes one from each header and run them all the way to the back. that is the RAW power sound everyone likes

yeah that was my other choice
I am running headman headers 3inch out to 2 1/2inch pipe straight out the back and let me tell you that my exhaust gets everyones attention!!! it is loud, at idle it sounds like a mean truck. Then when you get a load on the motor it is LOUD! People ask all the time what kinda mufflers I run....I tell them when you find you tell me....If you want to hear what a '78 bronco with the 400 sounds like straight piped letme know? Andrew
