Yep I have used this stuff for some time now in the bed of my F150 and it wroks great . When i did my 91 bronco I had it stripped to nithing and decided to do the entire tub with it and it turned out great now if the carpet gets wet it wont hold water against the sheetmetal also works as a sound dampener . Just make sure surface is clean before you do it and that you dont get any on ya cause it dont come off . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I had heard that herculiner fades after a couple of years. Something about not having very good uv protection. Know if this is true?

Some friends of mine used it but had to do multiple coats to make it thick and strong. They found it hard to keep clean. I found some stuff at my local auto paint supply store called Wesco Autobody Paint & Supply. They have a spray on type bed liner (many colors) that uses a hardener additive. The spray air gun is only $20 and attache to you compressor. This gives a thick hard smooth with slight texture coat instead of the rough bumpy rubber feel of herculiner. It looks nicer and cleans up like new after wheeling. I did inside the entire cab including the doors and bed. Its easy to wash out and haven't had a rust problem since. Just sand and clean the surface really good and get rid of any rust with a rust killer and paint it, then apply.

Well, I called the place to see if they still stock it. No dice!

They now have many different manufacturers of spray on bed liners to chose from.

The one they said would be close to what I have is Morton Bed Liner.

Its a semi smooth liner available in different colors.

The other mfg's are more rough and will be tough to keep clean.

I can take some photos of mine but its 5 years old and could use a recoat. My Bronco is an off road rig only so it see's lots of abuse.

To get a good thick coat you must do several applications.

The thing I noticed after I was done was the stuff is $40/pint for the liner and $10/ hardner ($50 total). So $100 for the bed, $50 for the cab, $50 for the doors and rockers. The gun is $20 and the liner can screws right to the gun so you don't need anything else.

So being at $220 you might be able to get Rhino liner for just a bit more.

My liner is only 1/8" thick where Rhino liner is 1/4" and you will never have to do it again. Since I started with it I kept going. After seeing my buddies Rhino liner I would have saved up the cash to do it.
