Hey guys,

I'm about to do an amp install on my 95 Bronco. I looked to see if I could find a good place to get my 4 gauge power line to go through the firewall and no luck. I really want to be able to get it through the passenger side but the frickin heater is right there. Where did you guys put it through?

Thanks

If you pull up the carpet on the passenger side there's a rubber plug. I poked a hole in that and ran my 4 guage that way. Use some zip ties to hold it up with whatever you can find. I can't remember what I had mine ziped at?

Good;

and;

also for future wire/vac line etc routing, and I assume you have an auto tranny for my memory of your past posts, look at clutch Blank cover where clutch pedal rod/etc should be on firewall and use it to rout or remove it and cut out section with smaller bit/snips and use a grommet; location pic by Froggman;

I did see that plug. I pulled it up and saw that there's another layer of subfloor there. Did you just drill through that or what? Sorry bout all the questions, just don't wanna drill a bunch of holes in the wrong places B)

Actually, just up forward is another 1 inch or so hole. I had to put my wire in from under the truck since the hole on the inside is bigger and easier to get hands into. Pretty simple, just crawl inder and look my man! WOO HOO!

Sorry wasn't able to get on the other day. I was successful in routing the wire from the battery down the inside of the passenger fender and came into the cab through that plug in the floor. Pretty simple. Thanks for the help! B)
