My Bronco has the stock AM/FM cassett player in it and I was wondering if the single space Ford AM/FM CD units I'm seeing on Ebay will just plug in of do they require anything aditional. They look to be the same size and they have the same plactic bracket on the back to support the radio. Anyone know for sure?

Not having seen the CD units in question I can only suggest pulling your existing cassette deck for a quick measurement (also measure the hole in the dash) and then just compare against the measurements of the ones on Ebay. As far as just plugging-in, no I very much doubt it. You'll probably have to cut the connectors off both ends (the Bronco harness & the replacement radio) and splice the wires directly but that's no big deal. If you*realy* want it to look or seem stock for some reason then you can also just pick up a pair of replacement connectors and use them to replace the existing connectors. The only real advantage that I can see in that is thatyou could pick up a few extra connectors for the radio side & if you ever swap it out again you'll have then & can make the upgrade a plug-in deal.
