Air filter

got an oil bath air filter on the bronco was wondering if anyone knew if ther is an easy way to get rid of it and convert to a standard paper type filter. would like to retain the stock air bow on it if at all possible. any help would be appreciated.

IMHO.., are you sure you want to do this..? Oil bath is the best filter made. (I still have mine) Detroit gave them up because there was no after market income. (they last forever)

The engineering design is of the viscous impingement type. True, they need service approx. twice a year.

If you want more info.., let me know.

If you really intend to rid of it...I'll take it..!

BTW.., what eng. are we talking here... 170-200 inline 6 ?

bully was just considering it for ease of maintance. understand it is the best way to filter the air just a pain when it comes to the maintance. and its on a 302 if you would mind sending me that info i would appreciated it.

Well consider what angle of offroading will that oil bath slosh over, if you dont wheel hard, keep it, if you do s;osh its a basic replacment from ______ your favorite autostore or catalog at the best price. Home fabbed snorkles are super cool too!
