a little tailgate window help

Well my tailgate window crapped out on my the other day. The motor still spins but the window wont move so I thought that it might have been the torque pins, well i took out the motor only to realize that I have a almost new motor. After putting the motor back in i noticed that the gear on the motor is spinning but it isn't catching the gear that makes the window go up and down.

Can anyone help me out on this?

Sounds like the gear is not aligned with the regulator. I know some folks use shims under the gear, or a small nut. I'll see if i can find some info on Miesk5's homepage in the tech Articles forum, JSM84
