PO said it had an oil leak.......well it does, from about 14 different places. Amazing what you find when you work on someone else's truck. So I picked this beauty up for $600 and bought a gasket set and will be working on that today. During the removal of the engine i found: OOPS someone is missing 4 oil pan bolts, and look that exhaust manifold was repaired and cracked again, and either broken or lost bolts became a mix-match of bolts and washers for the water pump. Well regardless I'm in it for the long haul and will hopefully reap the rewards of driving this bad boy. Here's some pics of what I got done......oh oil was everywhere, so alil degreaser and a pressure washer helped.....

Bronco PO's are awesome with their bat **** welds, wire nut splices in the wiring harness, bolt bin grabs for random hardware, and use of silicone. When you dropped the oil pan you did you find any silver bolts with a hex hed on any of the connecting rods. I found some like that once.

Well!?!! That's the first time I ever saw that new three piece easy to install modification.

I see that you have your starter out, and know how to take nice pictures.

It seems every now and then we have a thread on starters, and soleniods.

Next time you're taking pics, would you mind taking a couple of the starter, and solenoid, so that it can be used again in a later discussion?

Thanks in advance

Mine came off fell off my 1984 on the passengers side the same way. Amazing! I put on some thermal coated long headers and it sounds MUCH BETTER!
