So I have a 96 Bronco in my shop. Customer had me remove the old 351 and put in a 347 blue print engine with the Holley ****** EFI. I have the transmission controller from U.S Shift. My biggest hickup is trying to wire everything together. Customer wants to use his factory gauges and also some aftermarket, so we will have 2 water temp, 2 oil pressure, and trans temp. He also wants a aftermarket fuel pump, so I got one to go on the frame rail. I have searched but really couldn't find anything on this. Is there anywhere that has a good step by step to hook up wiring to make everything work and not have the check engine light on???? Thanks.

With the holley EFI and US shift controller I think the engine light is going to be on no matter what. Hopefully someone else can confirm. But I would probably just pull the bulb out of the cluster.

Never done a electronics swap like that one and it stands to reason that sort of setup would have its own ECU of some sort of interface that would multiplex with the OEM unit. If it doesnt- Yikes!
I dunno, thats uncharted waters for this one. The few chores way back when were Go Retro back to a carby.
L should be along here soon enuf. Perhaps he can shed some guru
light on the subject.

Sure, Ill chime in here, Ive done a little research on these (unfortunately never installed one)
But, with the holly controller running the TB, and US shift running the trans stuff, the only thing the ford PCM would be running is spark and holley has a controller for that that the holley module will get along with nicely, so with no need for the pcm, theres no one to turn on the CEL.
As far as the gauges go, the only answer I can think of is redundant sensors for each gauge.
I think the holly system has some provisions for that.
The ford gauges work independently of the PCM and shouldnt be affected by the installation if you dont disturb the wires for those gauges.
